My friends and I went to our first anime convention EVER!!!! XD I was Itachi Uchiha from Naruto, Madie was Edward Elric from Fulmetal Alchemist, and Bretta (Madie's friend from HS) was Matt from Death Note x3 the convention was from January 2-4 and we decided we were going on Sat the 3rd one cuz there was more stoof happening so we spent the night the day before at Madie-chan's house and I got to meet Bretta who was totaly hilarious XD!! we had to leave at 7:15 am which meant waking up at 5-6 to get ready and pack up our stoof -.- but that didn't stop us from staying up and watching funny stoof on youtube til 11:30 at night!!! O_O on top of that I had (and still do) a slight flu and have a horrible sore throaght so it was hard for me to go to sleep oh well, so we woke up, got semi ready, nibbled at a buiscuit, and left! We picked up my bro and then we hit the highway and took a nap on the way there -w- once we got there, there was hardly anyone inside the hotel cept for a few cosplayers and we were like OMG it's soandso from thatoneshow!!! 8D there was also a specially speaker named Vic Magnogna who was the voice actor for EDWARD ELRIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD he even showed us a special movie he made called Fulmetal Fantasy and it was him actually turning into Edward and seeing a bunch of the characters int the real world!! he signed my pass card and put a little <3 next to his signature x3!!! he's so cool!!!! I even got to sign someone's Death Note as Itachi and pretended to get a heart attack and we all laughed XD a bunch of people there were like "Itachi/Edward, can we get a pic of you?!" and it was sooooo cool x3!! they had a giant game room with 6 of the latest games for th xbox and pc like Left 4 Dead, which Tele enjoyed playing, and they even had DDR and Rock Band!!!! Later we saw Vic again and 2 other voice actors there: the guy that played Bo-Bo-Bo (XP) and the Joker on the new video game of DC v.s Marvel game, and his wife :3 they were funny ^^ after they were done we had an elevator party with Light Yagami (a girl cosplayer) and his school-boy friend (guy friend just there) we went up and down and scared a bunch of people cuz we were jumping in the elevator and screaming WOOOOO every time the elevator moved, opened, or if we saw someone XD the shopping area was really cool cuz they had REAL keyblades and even Zabuza's sword there O.O and it was sharp too.... but they had a bunch of stands with books, Japanese food, plushies, keychains, buttons, t-shirts and Gothic Lolita!!! In the end, I got an Anime South '09 t-shirt, 2 keychains for Michawl-kun and me, (Taurus and Sagittarius) pocky that was a present form Madie, and a Lust keychain to go with my Gluttony one ^-^
I'm going to save up a bunch of money for next year and try to bring Michael-kun so we can haz more people to party with XD
